Consumer Views on the Superbrands Seal
The accompanying research found that 86 percent of surveyed Kenyan consumers are highly likely to purchase products or services carrying the Superbrands seal. Another 84 percent said the recognition increases their overall trust in a brand, while 63 percent would consider paying a premium for a brand bearing the seal.
Dimmy Kanyankole, Senior General Manager for rides in East Africa at Bolt, said the ranking reflects the trust Kenyan customers place in the platform and reinforces the company’s commitment to reliable service for riders and partners, according to statements reported by TechTrendsKE and Kenya Today.
Jawad Jaffer, project director and associate publisher at Superbrands East Africa, noted that consumer trust must be earned consistently through brand performance rather than advertising alone. The results highlight how Kenyan consumers weigh quality, reliability and distinction when evaluating brands.
