📋 About Easy Coach Kenya
Easy Coach Ltd was founded in December 2003 by Azym Dossa, a former Chief Financial Officer at the legendary Akamba Bus company. Starting with just seven buses on the Nairobi–Kisumu route, Dossa introduced a radical model of fixed departure times, no overloading, clean passenger lounges, professional staff and a slight premium on fares in exchange for dignity and reliability.
The company grew rapidly into one of Kenya’s largest and most respected intercity operators, with a modern fleet of over 100 coaches, nearly 1,000 employees, and services covering more than 35 destinations across Western Kenya, Nyanza, the Rift Valley and Kampala, Uganda. Dossa stepped down as Managing Director in early 2025 citing health reasons and passed away in February 2026. The company continues under new leadership with the same core values of safety, comfort and punctuality.
