📋 About St Mary’s Mission Hospital
St Mary’s Mission Hospital is a group of faith-based hospitals with two branches — one in Lang’ata, Nairobi and the other in Elementaita, Nakuru County. Both facilities are owned and managed by the Assumption Sisters of Nairobi Congregation (ASN), a group of Catholic nuns whose core mission is to uplift the dignity of the human person through presence, especially among the underprivileged and the sick. Guided by the motto “Compassion in Healthcare,” St Mary’s strives to offer holistic, evidence-based care to all patients. The Nairobi branch is a KEPH Level 5 hospital.
In addition to its two main hospitals, St Mary’s also runs the Holy Family Basilica Clinic in Nairobi’s CBD, extending its healthcare reach to the heart of the city. The group also operates St Mary’s Medical Training College, training nurses and clinical officers to serve Kenya’s growing healthcare needs. The hospital is SHA-accredited and accepts most major insurance schemes. As a mission hospital, St Mary’s is particularly committed to serving low-income and vulnerable members of the community while maintaining high clinical standards of care.
